The LD visa lets you live and work legally in Vietnam. It's for any foreigner who has a job in Vietnam. You get this visa so you can stay in the country while working. This is Vietnam's main work visa. You can renew it as long as you keep working.

Eligibility Criteria

- Good health (medical exam required)
- No serious criminal record
- Bachelor's degree for most jobs
- Valid job offer in Vietnam
- Employer must post job publicly for 5 days
- For teachers: Bachelor's degree plus TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate
