About this Visa

The DT3 visa lets you live and work in Vietnam if you invest money in a business there. You need to invest between $114,000 and $1.9 million. This visa is for people who want to start a business or invest in Vietnam long-term. The visa lets you work in your own business without getting extra permission. Your family (spouse and children) can come with you. You can stay for up to 3 years and then renew it. The main catch: You must be a citizen of a WTO country (about 166 countries). This includes most developed and developing countries. Only about 25 countries cannot get this visa.
