About this Visa
The LD2 visa lets you work legally in Vietnam for one employer. Your employer gets you a work permit first, then you get the visa stamp. It's Vietnam's main work visa for foreign employees. You can work for up to 2 years, and you're allowed to extend once for 2 more years. The visa is for people with university degrees or technical skills. Your employer handles most of the paperwork—that's how it works here.
